The core loop is simple but addictive. You pick a character, grab some weapons, and try to survive waves of aliens that get progressively more aggressive. What keeps it interesting is how the different traits and items completely change how you approach each run. Some builds focus on ranged weapons and keeping your distance, while others turn you into a melee monster that charges into crowds. The controls feel tight and responsive, though the screen can get pretty chaotic when you're juggling six different weapons and dodging projectiles everywhere. Visually it's pretty minimal but that works in its favor. The little potato character and simple alien designs keep the focus on the action rather than flashy effects. The sound design is solid, with satisfying weapon sounds and a decent soundtrack that doesn't get annoying even after dozens of runs. It has that classic roguelite feel where each attempt feels different based on your item choices, though the arena layouts don't vary much between runs. This is a great pick if you like quick gaming sessions that still feel rewarding. It's perfect for people who enjoy games like Vampire Survivors but want something a bit more focused with actual character builds. The price point is reasonable and there's plenty of content to unlock if you want to try different strategies. Just don't expect some deep narrative experience.
