The map looks clean enough to track divisions and fronts without too much clutter, though the graphics are more functional than pretty, and the soundtrack does a solid job setting that grim wartime mood with its orchestral tracks and radio snippets. Overall the atmosphere sucks you in during long sessions, making the war feel heavy even if the visuals aren't pushing any boundaries. This is perfect for folks who love deep strategy sims and don't mind sinking dozens of hours into learning the systems, but casual players will probably bounce off the complexity pretty quick.
