You play as Rover waking up with no memories and teaming up with these Resonators to piece things together in a wild post-apocalyptic setting. It feels like a mix of exploration and fast action right away.

The combat is where it shines most, with tight dodging, parrying, and swapping between characters on the fly to chain attacks that actually feel responsive. Exploration can get a bit repetitive though, with fetch quests and resource grinding that remind you it's free to play, and the gacha system for pulling new Resonators might leave you frustrated if luck isn't on your side. Still, the freedom to tackle enemies in creative ways keeps things engaging for hours. The world looks gorgeous with its ruined cities and vibrant nature mixed together, and the sound design really sells the atmosphere through pulsing music and solid voice lines during big moments. Some areas feel a little empty on closer inspection, but the overall vibe pulls you into the story without needing fancy cutscenes every time. If you enjoy action RPGs like Genshin Impact but want snappier fights and don't mind the occasional grind, this is a solid pick especially since it's free to start. Just be ready to invest time or a bit of money for the full experience.
