Review

Gameplay clicks best when you're building through the big tournament, where every match matters and the 48-team bracket forces smart tactics instead of just spamming the same attacks. The Manager Live Challenges add nice variety with themed twists that change how you approach lineups, though the AI can still get frustrating in tight spots and make some games feel scripted. Player Career shines with the new international icons letting you relive legends in modern matches, but the transfer system still drags a bit and lacks real surprises. Graphics hold up with crisp player models and fluid animations that make dribbling look natural on the pitch, while the sound design nails crowd roars and stadium vibes that pull you into big moments. Commentary lines repeat a little too often after a few hours, but the overall atmosphere during night games or rival clashes really sells the intensity without feeling overdone. If you're a soccer fan who loves deep career modes and fresh tournament setups, this is worth picking up for the new modes alone. Casual players might find the learning curve steep at first, but stick with it and the gameplay rewards build a satisfying loop that beats scrolling through older titles.
