EA SPORTS FC™ 27

Description

Man, EA SPORTS FC 27 actually feels like it wants to mix that raw street game energy with proper stadium matches. I booted it up expecting the usual tweaks but ended up losing track of time just messing around in The Grounds mode. It really does put more control in your hands this year.

Review

Gameplay clicks better than recent years because the dribbling and passing feel tighter and more responsive, especially in quick street-style matches. That said, the AI can still get frustrating when defenders read every move perfectly in higher difficulties, and online modes sometimes punish you for not having the latest meta players. The new community tweaks make matches feel closer to real football, but it still has those moments where a bad bounce ruins everything. Graphics pop with better lighting on the pitch and crowds that actually react to big plays, while the sound design nails the roar of the stadium mixed with casual chatter from street games. Atmosphere pulls you in during big rival matches, though the commentary lines repeat way too often and break the immersion after a while. Overall it just feels alive in a way older versions didn't. If you're already into football sims and want something that rewards skill over spamming the same tactics, give this a shot. It's not perfect but the improved feel makes it worth jumping in, especially if you play with friends locally or online.
