The gameplay centers on scanning planets, mining resources, and upgrading your gear to handle hazards like toxic atmospheres or radiation while you hop between systems. It feels rewarding when you uncover a rare creature or build a better ship for longer trips, but the loops of constant harvesting and inventory management get old quick, and base building doesn't add much depth beyond basic shelters. The visuals deliver some stunning alien landscapes with bright colors and weird flora that make each world feel alive at first glance. Sound works well too with ambient planet hums and a chill soundtrack that fits the lonely space vibe, though after a few dozen planets the generation starts repeating patterns and it loses some of that wonder. If you enjoy slow-burn exploration and can handle repetition without needing tight stories or action, this game gives you a huge sandbox to lose time in, but players wanting more structured adventures or variety might get bored before the scale clicks.
