RuneScape: Dragonwilds

Description

So RuneScape's taking a swing at the survival genre with Dragonwilds, and it's got this whole co-op thing on a dragon-infested continent. You and your buddies gather stuff, build shelters, and level up skills while trying to figure out how to take down the Dragon Queen. Sounds wild, right?

Review

The gameplay loop is pretty addictive once you get into it. You spend a lot of time chopping wood, mining ore, and crafting tools, which reminds me of classic RuneScape but with more action combat against smaller dragons. Co-op makes it better because building a base together feels rewarding, though the inventory management can get frustrating when you're juggling a ton of items and the skill grind starts to feel repetitive after a while. Visually, it keeps that RuneScape style with bright colors and simple models, which might not blow you away but fits the world. The sound design shines with those deep dragon growls and ambient forest noises that really pull you in, especially at night when threats feel closer and the atmosphere turns tense without needing fancy effects. If you're into survival games like Valheim or a longtime RuneScape fan looking for something new, this is worth checking out. It won't replace your favorite MMO but offers a fresh twist on the universe with solid co-op fun that rewards teamwork over solo heroics.
