Discussion: Which Supporting Faction Do You Plan on Working With First?
Rockstar's confirmed supporting cast for GTA 6 already offers some tantalizing career paths, and I'm already weighing the pros and cons of who to throw in with first. On one side, you've got Boobie Ike and Dre'Quan Priest's music empire. Boobie is a Vice City legend with a strip club, real estate, and a recording studio, while Dre'Quan runs the Only Raw Records label, having signed the rap duo Real Dimez. Given the game's focus on social-media culture and the in-world streamers we've seen, aligning with them could open up a whole management sim layer—promoting artists, dealing with rival labels, maybe even staging publicity stunts that go sideways into classic GTA chaos. It feels like a fresh angle for the series, leveraging the dual protagonists to handle the business and the street side simultaneously.
Then there's Raul Bautista, the charismatic veteran bank robber explicitly looking for new talent. That's a direct line to the heist systems Rockstar has been refining since GTA V. The Extended Look showed us seamless switching between Jason and Lucia during missions; I can already picture a Bautista-led job where one drives the getaway while the other cracks the vault, with branching choices based on your prep work. It's a more traditional crime fantasy, but with the promise of deeper planning mechanics and maybe a mentor-student dynamic.
So I'm torn. Are you leaning toward the music industry hustle or the bank-robbing crew? Do you think Rockstar will let us dabble in both, or will there be faction reputation gates that force a choice? And which path do you think suits Lucia and Jason's story better, given what we know of their backgrounds?

Definitely Bautista first. If Rockstar is letting us swap between Jason and Lucia on the fly, the routing potential for bank jobs sounds insane. Skip the music studio management menus and dialogue loops; I want to see how fast we can clear a vault and break line of sight on the getaway.
Don't sleep on the music empire so fast. Handling studios and clubs gives me heavy original Vice City asset vibes, like buying up the Malibu Club or the print works back in the day. Big heists are fun, but steadily building a commercial footprint across the map has always felt more rewarding.
Just pray those bustling music clubs and crowd-heavy studio parties don't choke the CPU into single digits. Big heist shootouts with dozens of squad cars already sound like a nightmare for frame pacing, but dynamic nightclub lighting and hundreds of high-density NPCs will truly test whatever hardware we end up running.
