Is Total War: WARHAMMER III Co-op Worth It for Casual Players?

I've had my eye on Total War: WARHAMMER III for ages—the daemons, the massive real-time battles, and the chance to wrap up the trilogy's story with a friend in co-op. Now that it's been out a few years, I'm finally considering grabbing it for some online co-op sessions. But here's the thing: neither of us are Total War veterans, and I keep hearing about the steep learning curve and how the realm mechanics can feel like a grind. As someone who values fun over flawless micro, I'm a little nervous we'll spend more time frustrated than laughing.

So, for those of you who've played the co-op campaign recently: is it still a good time for casual strategy fans? I'd love to hear how you introduced a newer player without overwhelming them. Which factions are the most forgiving in co-op? Do you recommend any mods or custom settings to tone down the chaos (or crank up the fun)? And honestly, does the co-op mode itself make the experience more approachable, or does it just mean two people are confused instead of one? Share your co-op survival tips—I want us to enjoy the spectacle, not rage-quit over bad positioning!
