Does pre-ordering GTA 6 digitally get you a free month of GTA+?

Yes, if you pre-order Grand Theft Auto VI digitally, you'll receive a free month of GTA+ for GTA Online. Rockstar Games confirmed this in their official press release on June 24, 2026, just before pre-orders opened the next day.

GTA+ is a monthly subscription that offers perks in GTA Online—like bonus cash, vehicles, and properties. The free month is a nice little bonus for anyone planning to dive back into Los Santos while waiting for Vice City's neon glow. It's worth noting that this offer is specifically for digital pre-orders through the PlayStation Store or Xbox Store. The physical edition (which comes with a download code, not a disc) hasn't been confirmed to include the same perk, so if you're eyeing that box for your shelf, you might miss out on the subscription trial.

What's still unconfirmed is whether GTA+ will eventually tie into whatever online mode launches alongside or after GTA 6. Rockstar hasn't said a word about a new GTA Online for Leonida—rumors point to 2027, but nothing's official. For now, this free month is a treat for the current GTA Online world, and a lovely little soundtrack to your pre-launch hype.
