GTA 6 Characters: Every Confirmed Name and Their Role

Rockstar Games has revealed a growing cast of characters for Grand Theft Auto VI, set across the sun-soaked state of Leonida (map & locations). 1. Jason Duval

One of the two protagonists. Jason grew up around grifters and has a history of drug running. In the Launch Trailer, he mentions getting in trouble during his time in the Army and not leaving on the best of terms. The Extended Look shows players switching between him and Lucia, including during the same mission (such as one driving while the other shoots).

2. Lucia Caminos

The first playable female lead of the modern GTA era. Lucia was raised in Liberty City, where her father taught her to fight. She was incarcerated in Leonida Penitentiary and released early. The official description notes she sees Jason as a path to a better life. The Extended Look shows players switching between her and Jason, including during the same mission.

3. Cal Hampton

Jason’s friend, described as a homebody who spends his time snooping on Coast Guard communications. His role in the story has not been detailed beyond that, but his skills could prove useful in a state surrounded by water and dotted with islands.

4. Boobie Ike

A Vice City legend and businessman with interests in a strip club, real estate, and a recording studio. He backs the label run by Dre’Quan Priest.

5. Dre’Quan Priest

Runs the Only Raw Records label, which is financially backed by Boobie Ike. He signed the rap duo Real Dimez, placing him at the intersection of Vice City’s music scene and its shadier dealings.

6. Real Dimez (Bae-Luxe and Roxy)

A rap duo consisting of Bae-Luxe and Roxy, friends since high school. They have a large social media following and are signed to Only Raw Records. Their presence ties into the game’s theme of social-media culture and in-world celebrity.

7. Raul Bautista

A charismatic veteran bank robber who is looking for new talent. His official description suggests he may play a mentor-like role for Jason and Lucia, drawing them deeper into high-stakes heists across Leonida.

8. Brian Heder

An older man who ran drugs during what Rockstar calls the golden age of smuggling in the Keys. His past connections could open doors in the island chain region. Actor Stephen Root has separately confirmed he has a role in the game, but the character name has not been officially linked to Heder.
