Who Voices GTA 6 Characters? The Mystery Behind the Cast
Rockstar hasn't officially named a single voice actor for GTA 6—no leads, no side characters, nobody. In an era where casting announcements often drop months before a game's release, that silence feels deliberate. The closest thing we have to a confirmed performer is Stephen Root, who casually mentioned in an interview that he has a role, though he didn't say who. That's it. One name, and it's not even official. (For more on that, peep our GTA 6 leaks & rumors.)
I kind of dig the mystery. It reminds me of the old days when you'd boot up a game and only recognize voices from the credits. Maybe Rockstar wants Jason and Lucia to feel like real people before we attach a celebrity face. Or maybe they're just avoiding another leak. Either way, it's a throwback I can appreciate.
So, who do you think is behind the mic? Any wild guesses for Jason's gravel or Lucia's edge? And do you prefer the secrecy, or would you rather have a full cast list before November 19? Let's hear it in the GTA 6 discussions & polls.

I honestly love the secrecy. When a studio does not lean on giant Hollywood names, the characters feel so much more grounded in the world. GTA audio design and ambient chatter have always been brilliant at building atmosphere, so letting unfamiliar voices define Jason and Lucia without celebrity baggage feels like the right artistic move.
You are giving them way too much romantic credit. It is not about artistic purity; Rockstar just clamps down with terrifying NDAs so nobody tanks their marketing timeline. Besides, as long as the audio mixing is balanced and the dialogue does not cause weird frame pacing hiccups during dense cutscenes, I do not care whose voice it is.
Fair point on the NDAs, but sitting around with buddies trying to match voices from the trailers is half the fun right now. My group spent an evening pausing clips arguing over whether Lucia sounded familiar. As long as their banter has good chemistry and makes the story fun to watch together on the couch, that is what really matters.
